Sludge Scarper

A sludge scraper is a machine that removes sludge from the river or wastewater treatment plant. It is used in municipal wastewater treatment plants, drinking water plants and large-diameter circular sedimentation tanks in industrial wastewater treatment. It is used to remove sludge settling at the bottom of the tank and skim the scum on the tank surface.

The driving device drives the scraper to rotate around the center of the sedimentation tank. After the raw water is precipitated by the sedimentation tank, the supernatant liquid is discharged from the overflow port, and the sludge at the bottom of the tank is slowly driven by the scraper to the central collecting tank and is discharged through the drain pipe. At the same time, the scum is concentrated in the area between the scum scraper and the scum baffle. The scum is discharged from the discharge tank.

Features of Mud Scraper

  • 01

The sludge scrapers are designed in a logarithmic spiral curve shape and supported by rubber wheels to move along the tank bottom. They deliver excellent sludge-scraping performance, have low requirements for the tank bottom, and offer strong adaptability. In addition to the main sludge-scraping device, a unique auxiliary sludge-scraping device is also installed, enabling the half-bridge sludge scraper to achieve the effect of a full-bridge sludge scraper.

  • 02

The working bridge adopts a truss structure, with steel plates laid on the bridge deck. It features high strength, light weight, and low energy consumption. The driving wheels are solid rubber wheels that do not require rails, resulting in a simple structure and easy installation.

All underwater components are made of stainless steel, while above-water components are made of carbon steel with hot-dip galvanization. This ensures good corrosion resistance and a long service life.
